Purpose:

Configure the different units that inventory products are shipped and/or stored in.

Inventory Units Window

The Inventory Units window allows you to manage the units that inventory products are shipped and/or stored in.

Field Description
Description

A text field that describes the unit.
Inactive

A check box that, when selected, indicates the field is inactive and not in use.
Unit is divisible for repackaging

A check box that, when selected, indicates that this unit can be divided and repackaged into smaller units.

Example: A case of gloves could be repackaged into boxes of gloves.
Task Procedure
Add Units
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Units
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Units
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Inventory Units report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Inventory Units report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Inventory Units report uses the PrdUnit.rpt file.
