Hold Time Reasons Window

Hold time reasons which are used to block off time in a schedule which is later released to create space for appointments that require short notice, like emergency appointments.

When a block of time is held, no appointments can be booked in that space until the hold time is expired or released.

The Hold Time Reasons window allows you to manage the list of hold times reasons, and how they are used.

Hold Time Reasons - Field Definitions

Field	Description
Description	A text field that describes what the hold time reason should be used for.
Display Description	A text field that describes the hold time reason that displays in the Scheduler.
Color	A color bar that indicates the background color to display in the Scheduler to represent this hold time.
Release @ __ __ days in future	Fields that indicate day and time that the hold time is released.

Hold Time Reasons - Tasks

Task	Procedure
Add Hold Time Reasons	Click the Clear Data () icon. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Hold Time Reasons	Select a listed entry. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Hold Time Reasons	Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report	(Optional) To preview the Hold Time Reasons report, click the Preview Report () icon. To print the Hold Time Reasons report, click the Print Report () icon. Note: The Hold Time Reasons report uses the HoldTimes.rpt file.
